Dr. Zili Li is a Lecturer (equivalent toassistant professor in the US system) in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering atUniversity College Cork. His research interests mainly include soil-structureinteraction, advanced soil mechanics, tunnelling engineering, innovativemonitoring techniques.
He holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelorin Civil Engineering from Tongji University in China. He also has postdoctoral research experience from the Centre forUnderground Construction and Tunneling, Colorado School of Mines (CSM).
Qualified PhD students will have opportunitiesto visit University of Cambridge and / or UC Berkeley, US 3 ~ 6 months forjoint research projects.
